Please select the number of pearls you are mailing back and include those you will purchase today in your count. Our restringing service rate is based on the number of pearls we will string on your necklace chain. So if you are mailing back two pearls and purchase three today on this form, select the My necklace will have 1 – 5 pearls option, as your necklace will have a total of five pearls on your necklace chain after the restringing service is completed.

The starting rate of this service includes $48 towards one pearl and shipping with insurance. While you are not required to purchase additional pearls, the option is available. Each 5.5 mm pearl is priced at $48, and each 6.5 mm pearl is $75. Pearl sizes are approximate and may vary by up to 0.50 mm. We offer two preferred sizes in our freshwater pearls to create a stunning graduated necklace. This timeless design is cherished by women, which is why we focus on these two sizes in our Create-A-Pearl® line. This necklace is an heirloom piece, embodying elegance and a rich tradition. Use this pearl restringing service to have us add your pearls to your current Create-A-Pearl® starter necklace. If you are new to Create-A-Pearl®, you’ll need to visit the starter necklace product page to purchase a starter necklace by clicking here. Use the pearl restringing service on this page each year in October to have us add all the beautiful loose pearls you have purchased from us to her starter pearl necklace so she has her necklace in time for Christmas or another special holiday.

How many pearls to fill a pearl necklace, you ask?

It takes, on average, four pearls per inch, with approximately three inches for the clasp, end components, and necklace knots. So, for a 16-inch pearl necklace similar to the length Princess Diana, Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, and Jackie Kennedy wore, you will need approximately 52 pearls. For an 18-inch princess pearl necklace similar to the length Kate Middleton and Taylor Swift wears, you will need about 60 pearls.

Pearls and pearl chain must be received by us for service to be performed. Allow 6 – 8 weeks for service to be completed once your items are received in our design studio.

**Include a return shipping label in your package for us to mail your newly restrung pearl necklace back to you. This service does not include the cost for us to ship your pearl necklace back to you. You must include a shipping label that includes insurance to cover the total replacement cost of your pearl necklace, as we are not responsible for the loss or damage of your pearl necklace. Please also include the signature required option on your shipping label so you are required to sign for your package when it is delivered to you.
